PROJECT TIMELINE

• During our project, we aim at organizing activities which combine universal values and Intangible Cultural Heritages of Unesco.

  FEBRUARY 2021

  • Project opening webinar
  • Admission of the project members, introductory webinar, and determination of additions, suggestions and similar issues related to the project.
  • Preliminary Survey for students using Google forms
  • Introduction of partners
  • Designing project logo and poster.
  • 9 February 2021 is  Safer Internet Day.
  • 1st activity: Coffee culture / Friendship

  Turkish coffee is included in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Unesco. Still, coffee has a special meaning and place in almost every culture.

  Coffee is not only a beverage but also a communal practice that brings together cultural spaces, social values and beliefs within a context of socialization process.

  That’  s why, the first activity will combine Coffee Culture and Friendship.

  Each partner school will make a video which explains the place of coffee in their country /  culture. Then these videos will be collected in the web2 tool  THINGLINK .  

  At the end of February, all partners and students taking place in the project will meet in a zoom meeting and watch each other' s videos and talk about what coffee and friendship mean to them. The motto of this meeting will be "Coffee makes the people come together"

  • 2nd Activity: Safer Internet Day: 9th of February is Safer Internet Day. To raise awareness among the students, an online meeting will be held for this day. Also a Survey will be made for students to make them be aware of the dangers of the internet. Students will also make posters for this day and upload them on the padlet on twinspace. In addition to these, there will be a colloborative work: ACROSTIC POEM for Safer Internet day. Each partner will write a line of the poem. 

  
  

  MARCH 2021

  • 3rd activity: Welcoming Spring

  Nowruz /Nevruz, the rebirth of nature, is in the list of  Intangible Cultural Heritage of Unesco. Every culture has its own customs and traditions to celebrate  Spring. In this activity Spring and Tolerance will be combined. Partners will upload their videos and photo collages about the celebration of Spring in their countries on the padlet on twinspace. By this way, there will be a cultural intermission between the partner schools.  With the works of partners a visual exhibition ( EMAZE ) will be created. 

  
  

  • 4th Activity: Digital cards

  There will be mixed partners and partners will send each other visual / digital cards to greet their spring fest. I WISH YOU TO web2 tool will be used for this activity. These greeting cards will then be uploaded on twinspace. 

   Mixed Country Teams

  Mixed teams will be created in March. There will be 5 mixed teams. the teams will determine the activities and lead the project members so that all partners will contribute these mixed teams. There will be questionnaires to decide on the name of the teams. We, as project, would like to make our students and partners get involved in every step of the project. Thus, AnswerGarden will be used to get feedback for the suggestions of teams' names.

  • 5th Activity: World Water Day is on 22 March. Unesco also contributes to the observance of World Water Day with activities. An awareness between the students will be raised on this day. This year' s theme is "Valuing Water" and activities about this theme are held. One of the mixed teams will be responsible of this activity. 
  • 6th Activity: Martenitsa / Marteniçka Martenitsas are in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Unesco. It symbolizes the purity, luck and sharing. As mixed team works, an online meeting will be held with our partners and pupils participating the project, and the history of Martenitsas will be discussed and we will make martenitsas ( wish bracelets ) . 
  • 7th Activity: Equinox Day and Equality 21st of March is officially the beginning of Spring. There will be a - twelve -hour of Daylight and a -twelve- hour of night which symbolizes the equality. For this pecial day, a twinboard will be opened and partners will uploaded their posters regarding this day. This posters will be collected on Mosaically .

  • 8th activity: Writing a fairytale  

  Fairytales are in the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Unesco. One of the most effective ways of teaching & learning universal values is fairytales. In this activity,, we aim at combining Fairytales and Universal Values such as goodness, respect, love…

  As a Project’s common product, a fairytale will be written with the participation of all partner schools.  There will be a fairytale PADLET in twinspace and each partner will write a page of a fairytale. One partner will start and the other countries continue it.There will be a row which partners will follow. All Project partners will contribute to write a common product of the Project. The fairytale will be created in STORYJUMPER. One of the mixed country teams will organize this activity. 

  • 9th activity: Spring Fest 

   With the coming of April, we feel the spring joy everywhere. As a part of Newroz, in April, there will be an online spring fest. Songs, musical instruments, poems and good wishings of the partners will be the themes of the spring fest.  

  • 10th activity: Values Education through Sport

   In this activity, we aim at guiding pupils to learn the values such as Equality, Fairplay and Respect. Mangala is in the list of Intengible Cultural Heritage of Unesco. ıt is a kind of board game which is a very famous Turkish traditional game. On the other hand, Chess tradition in Ströbeck, a small village in Germany, is also on the list of Unesco. Both mangala and chess help people learn  how to be patient, respectful, and fair. Activities about these sports will be planned. A webinar with an expert in chess is organized for project patners and students.

  Besides, a  Criss Cross Puzzle will be created about Chess and Mangala. There will be a collaborative online form on which each partners add questions about Chess and Mangala. Then these questions will turn into be a criss cross puzzle. This puzzle can be solved online by pupils. A puzzle progaramme will be used to create it.

  MAY 2021

  • 12th activity: Etwinning Day ( 9th May )

  A joint video will be created about eTwinning. Our students will answer the question: What does eTwinning mean to you? This video will be also another Collaborative Activity of the Project. Every partner will contribute to the video. Also, a twinboard will be opened and partners and students will add their posters and works about eTwinning Day. 

  • 13th Activity: Media Education 

  eTwinning theme of 2021 is Media Literacy and Disinformation. UNESCO also deals with this subject and has publications about this subject.  We would like our students to be aware of fake news, disinformation and misinformation on media. Dealing with universal values, we try to give the students the sense of critical thinking with this activity.  There will be a PADLET on twinspace and students will create slogans about this subject. These slogans will be shown as GIFs with a programme. 

  • 14th Activity: Tolstoy' s Book: What Men Live By

      As our project takes its name after Tolstoy' s book, there will be activities about his book as well. there will be pages for his 6 stories from the book. Students will read the each story and share their favourite quotations from the stories. They will upload the posters prepared for this quotations on twinboard opened for this task. 

  • 15th Activity: Making ORIGAMI BOOKMARKS 

  A storyteller and Origami artist will be invited for an online webinar. She will tell story to our students and ask for the moral of the story in terms of universal values. She will also show the partners and students how to make an origami bookmark. These bokmarks will be the reminder and the memory of the project for all members. One of the mixed teams will plan this activity. 

  • 16th Activity: Kahoot Activity 

  There will be a KAHOOT ACTIVITY . An online meeting  with the students will be scheduled and a kahoot activity about Tolstoy' s book and  our project will be organized. Each partner will add questions for this activity. 

  • Final Surveys for teachers, students and parents

  • JUNE 2021 ( till 15th of June )

    • 17th Activity: World Environment Day

    5th of June is World Environment Day. A common product will be created with all partner schools. A wish tree will be designed on Genially and one student from each school will write their wishes about environment there.  

    • Project Final Webinars

    Project will be closed with 2 webinars for students and partners. These webinars will be about World Environment Day and UNESCO. Our aim with these webinars are to give some detailed and educational information for the students involved in the project and make them evaluate the review what they experience throughout the project.

• 1.  etkinlik: Kahve kültürü ve dostluk. Projemizde her ay Unesco Somut olmayan Kültür mirasları Listesinden bir ögeyi ve bir evrensel değeri birleştirerek etkinlikler yapmayı amaçlıyoruz.
• Türk kahvesi Unesco Somut olmayan kültürel miraslar listesinde yer almaktadır. Ancak kahve sadece Türk kültüründe değil, hemen hemen bütün kültürlerde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bir fincan kahvenin 40 yıl hatırı vardır sözünden hareketle kahve kültürü ve dostluk arasındaki bağı anlatan bir etkinlik planlanmıştır. Hayali gezgin bir karakter okulları / ortakları  ziyaret edecek ve her ortak kahvenin kendi kültüründeki yerini anlatan bir video hazırlayacak. Daha sonra bu video bir ebookta toplanacak. BOOKCREATOR web2 aracı kullanılacak.

• 2. Etkinlik: Bahar Bayramı

• Nevruz, doğanın yeniden doğumu Unesco listesinde yer almaktadır. İlkbaharın gelişi birçok kültürde farklı şekillerde kutlanmaktadır. Bu etkinlikte İlkbahar ve Hoşgörü birleştirilecektir. Her ortak kendi bahar kutlamasını yapacak ve bu kutlamalardan çekilecek resimlerle EMAZE web2 aracıyla sanal bir sergi hazırlanacak.  

  Ayrıca, sanal bir bahar şenliği hazırlanacak ve ortakların katılımıyla online biretkinlikle baharın gelişi kutlanacaktır.

   

• 3. Etkinlik: Dijital kart hazırlama

• Çekilecek kurayla karışık takımlar oluşturulacak ve birbirini çeken  okullar I WISH YOU TO web2 aracıyla dijital bahar kutlaması kartları hazırlayarak birbirine gönderecek. Bu kartlar için twinspace de bir PADLET açılacak. Daha sonra bu kartlar THINGLINK web2 aracına yüklenecek.

   

• Dünya Su Günü: Dünya su günü 22 Martta kutlanmaktadır ve Unesco da her yıl bu günün kutlanmasına kendi etkinlikleriyle katkı sağlamaktadır.  22 martta bu konu hakkında öğrencilerde farkındalık oluşturulacak ve Dünya Su Günüyle ilgili etkinliklere Nisan ayında da devam edilecektir.

• 4. Etkinlik: Masal yazma

• Masallar Unesco Somut olmayan kültürel miraslar listesinde yer alır. Evrensel değerleri öğretmenin en etkili yollarından birisi de masallardır. Bu nedenle Projemizin ortak ürünü olarak bir masal yazacağız. Bir masal PADLET i açılacak. Bir ortak masalı başlatacak ve diğer ortaklar sırayla masalı devam ettirecek. Masal STORYJUMPER web2 aracıyla ebook a dönüştürülecek. 

   

• 5. Etkinlik : Doğaya saygı

• Öğrencilerin suyun önemini kavramaları için etkinlikler planlanacak. Bir karikatür kitabı oluşturulacak. Doğanın korunması ve su tasarrufuyla ilgili bir hikaye ele alınacak. Bu karikatür projenin ortak ürünlerinden olacak ve her ortak bu karikatür kitabının oluşmasına  katkı sağlayacak.

   

• 6. Etkinlik: Sporla değerler eğitimi

• Unesco, değerler eğitiminde sporun önemli bir yeri olduğunu belirtir. Eşitlik, Adalet, Saygı gibi evrensel değerler  sporla yerleşir. Bu mantıkla biz de projemizde öğrencilerle kuralları olan eski / yeni oyunları oynayarak bu değerleri öğretmeyi planlıyoruz. Her ortak kendi seçeceği bir oyunu kurallarına göre oynayacak ve resimlendirecek. Oyunun kuralları belirtilecek. Ve bu oyunlar bir araya getirilecek.

  GENIALLY web2 aracı kullanılacak.

• 7. Etkinlik: eTwinning günü: 6 Mayıs 2021

• Tüm ortakların katkısıyla bir Akrostiş Şiir yazılacak. Konusu eTwinning olacak. Projenin ortak ürünlerinden birisi de bu şiir olacak.

• 8. Etkinlik: Kukla yapımı

• Kuklalar Unesco listesinde yer almaktadır. Bu nedenle Kuklalar ve Paylaşma konuları birleştirilecek. Twinspace de bir PADLET açılacak ve bu padlete öğrenciler çok sevdikleri kitapların adlarını yazacaklar. Bu kitaplar Dünya Klasikleri arasından olabilir. Böylece öğrenciler kitaplar konusunda paylaşımlarda bulunacak ve padlete yazılan kitaplarla projemizin sanal bir kütüphanesi oluşmuş olacak. Ayrıca her okul kitap ayraçları ve küçük el kuklaları yapacak. Bu kuklalar kitap ayraçlarının ucuna Yapıştırılacak ve proje hatırası olarak kalacak.

   

• Projede yer alan öğrencilerle online bir KAHOOT Etkinliği düzenlenecek. Bu etkinlikte Evrensel .değerler konusu ele alınacak.

          17. Etkinlik: Dünya Çevre Günü

               Dünya Çevre Günü kapsamında bir ortak ürün yapılacak. Genially Web2 programında bir dilek ağacı oluşturulacak ve her okuldan 1 öğrenci dilek ağacına çevre ile ilgili kendi dileğini yazacak.  

  • Proje Final Webinarları
  • Proje öğrenciler için 2 webinar düzenlenerek bitirilecek. Bu webinarlara Türkiye ve Azerbaycan' dan kouklar konuşmacı olarak katılacak ve Dünya Çevre Günü ve UNESCO hakkında bilgi verecekler. Bu webinarlarla öğrencilere eğitici bilgiler verilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.
